WHY WE STARTED SOUNDSIDE COLLECTIVE
Soundside Collective began with a loving wife encouraging her husband to leave journalism and nonprofit communications behind to pursue his passion.
After the sudden loss of his father, our founder discovered what that passion was. His father had taught him a simple lesson growing up: when you love something, you protect it. For our founder, the coast has always felt like home. Like so many people, it’s where some of life’s most meaningful moments happen—with family, with friends, and with the people we love most.
He created Soundside Collective to help protect the coast so his own children, and the generations that follow them, can experience it, fall in love with it, and create memories of their own—just as he did with his father.
